Fetching Our Casita

Casita is a small company and has no dealers. We ordered our little trailer and waited months for it to be ready. Picking it up from the Casita factory was a special event. Images.

Hays, Kansas Fence Posts

We spent our first night of this trip in Hays, Kansas. After supper, we drove to the countryside to look more closely at Kansas scenery. We found fence posts made of stone. Images

Texas Bar-B-Que

One or our most wonderful experiences on this trip was satisfying a hunger for real Texas Bar-B-Que. We think this place really opens around midnight but we were there about 7:30 pm. We ordered from a tiny window that was about two feet above Vince's head and the waitress raised her arm to hold the window while we talked to her so we actually ordered from an armpit. Slideshow

Waxahachie

We spent the first night in our new Casita at Waxahachie Creek State Park near Rice. A beautiful park! Images.
