Set A Spell
Colleton State Park, South Carolina
Sunday, July 17, 2011. Our neighbors in this park were friendly and welcoming. In their soft, lilting voices, they invited us to come "set a spell" even in the middle of the Edisto River! We hiked along the river and through a Cypress Swamp. We truly felt taken back in time and civilization seemed distant until we rounded a bend and suddenly came upon a nuclear power plant dead ahead.
